FAQ
Questions travelers ask before they trust a local
The things you'd want to know before handing your Puerto Vallarta trip to someone else — answered plainly.
Planning your trip
How do I know the places are authentic and not tourist traps?
Every stop comes from Neni's own curated Puerto Vallarta catalog — restaurants, tours, and beaches she'd send a friend to, not whatever ranks highest online. Your itinerary is built from that catalog, so you skip the guesswork.
How is my itinerary put together?
You tell us your dates, where you're staying, and who's coming, then answer a short preferences questionnaire. We craft a day-by-day plan from Neni's catalog that fits your pace and taste — and you refine it until it's yours.
Does this work for a trip with kids?
Yes. Family trips are paced for kids — gentle adventure, beach time, easy dinners, and built-in downtime — with the pickup and driving handled so nobody's wrangling a rental car.
The guide service
What does the private tour guide actually do?
Neni or one of her approved guides picks you up, drives you between every stop on your itinerary, and guides the experiences at each venue — so your trip happens instead of being managed.
Do I have to book a guide for my whole stay?
No. You can book the guide for your entire trip or add a single guided day. Airport transfers can also be booked on their own.
Will Neni personally be my guide?
When she's available, yes. When she isn't, you're matched with one of her approved local guides who work from the same curated catalog and the same standard.
Pricing & booking
How does pricing work?
Every trip is quoted per trip — based on your dates, party size, and the stops on your itinerary. You see your full price before you pay. There are no fixed packages and no surprise charges.
Does it cost anything to build an itinerary?
No. Building and refining your itinerary is free. You only pay when you book the guide service, and you'll see the price first.
How do I book once I like my plan?
Start your trip in the planner and reserve the guide right there, or message Neni on WhatsApp with any questions before you commit.
Getting around & safety
Is Puerto Vallarta safe for visitors?
Puerto Vallarta is one of Mexico's most popular destinations for travelers, and having a local who drives you and knows the city removes most of the everyday friction — from getting around to picking the right neighborhoods.
How do we get between places?
Your guide drives you door-to-door between every stop on the itinerary. No rental car, no rideshare apps, no working out routes — the transport is part of the service.
What if we don't speak Spanish?
Your guide speaks English and handles the on-the-ground communication — reservations, ordering, directions — so a language barrier never gets in the way of your trip.
